KitKat 4.4
WEBSITE
The Android KitKat stuff this week has been fantastic, and a great example of partnership marketing. There's going to be much much more of this stuff in the future. Stand out thing was the website though, which is a brilliant piece of design, as well as some fantastic copywriting.

How To Win at 5 Carnival Games
SHORT ARTICLE
Those games at funfairs which no-one can ever win? Well read this and maybe you can win them and impress your gal, or whatever it is kids like to do these days.

Expiring Tweets
TOOL
You can now create Tweets that expire and vanish after a certain amount of time. Clever, and has lots of interesting potential uses.

Salty Bet
WEBSITE
Whilst the name is a bit weird, Salty Bet is allows you to bet (not-real) money on real-time live events. It's mostly videogame battles, but its other things too. I expect a brand to steal this soon. (p.s. If no video loads, it's because it's not live at the moment. Check their Twitter feed for times).

The Internet's Next Victim - Advertising
LONG ARTICLE
Really interesting and informed piece about how advertising on the internet is probably going to destroy lots of things soon. Basicaly, despite iPads, 4G speeds and a recovering global economy, the online economy is still a mess, and shows no signs of a fix.

T-Fal OptiGrill
CASE OF THE WANTS
The future of meat is here!

Saul Goodman's Official Website
WEBSITE
I think this is really old, but I didn't actually see it until this week. Awesome for Breaking Bad fans. Going to start linking to this when people at work ask me questions

The Social Life of Genes
LONG ARTICLE
Another really interesting article. A must read if you in anyway care about science, or think you know anything about how DNA and genes work.

GG Allin and the Murder Junkies
DOCUMENTARY
Time for a little punk rock in my weekly documentary reccomendation. If you don't know who GG Allin is, this may shock you a little bit.

And Finally
IMAGE
Got to love local newspapers.
