Airport Adverts
SHORT ARTICLE
Some Japanese Aiport baggage carousels now have fixed pieces of luggage on them, which act as adverts. Super clever, and some of these are just excellent.

Manly Sandwiches
E-BOOK
Love sandwiches? Of course you do. Here's a free e-book for 500 recipes of awesome sandwiches, crowdsourced from readers of The Art of Manliness. You just need to 'like' them on Facebook or subscribe to their newsletter to get it, and it's well worth it because it unlocks some serious deliciousness.

The Gerrymandering Jigsaw
INTERACTIVE
How do you make a boring (but important) issue like legaslatively driven gerrymandering (i.e. vote fixing) interesting to the average person? By making it into an online jigsaw puzzle! Really nice from Slate.com

Magic Beard
VIDEO
Great stop-motion YouTube video. Ending somewhat unpredictable.

Improbabilia
IMAGES
One for photography fans. This set of images focuses on the Improbable, but not the impossible. All the images have one thing in common - they are real and unmanipulated, and show strange but possible things.

Online Dating Ipsum
WEBSITE
This is a hilarious/horrible insight into the world of online dating. Pulling in data from dating sites, this 'tool' auto-generates a profile from an amalgamation of other people's 'About Me's'. Most of it is garbled, desperate and clichéd gibberish. Basically, they've pretty much nailed it.

General Electric on Pinterest
IMAGES
How do you make a Pinterest board for a utilities company. Well, most social media strategist would say that is a stupid idea. Wrong. General Electric turned Thomas Edison into a new nineteenth century version of Ryan Gosling, and the result is a page full of amusing physics jokes.

Supreme Talk
SHORT ARTICLE
I found this pretty shocking. The US Supreme Court has admitted that it still hasn't 'gotten around' to using e-mail. At all. In any way. It was also admitted that cases involving Facebook, Twitter and other online networks or technologies baffle nearly all of the nine judges. And we wonder why we end up with stupid legal things like SOPA, PIPA and Cameron's porn-block...

Punk Britannia
VIDEO
This week's documentary reccomendation is one that is particuarly close to my heart; punk rock. This BBC Four three-parter are on iPlayer until Monday. If you care about music in any way, watch them.

And Finally

Suicide-pact bannanas
